It's a Race… Not a Rally. Right?
A good friend of mine recently competed in a race across Mexico in a Porsche 911 GT3 in the 2007 Carrera Panamericana. Some may think La Carrera is a race. Others think it's a rally. And a select few think it's just plain dumb to take a $100,000.00 Porsche through central Mexico at speeds in excess of 180 mph... he swears it was the best thing he's ever done behind the wheel. Whatever it was, one thing is clear: The debate will go on. (My opinion: It was a race not a rally.)

Art Morrison: Kazunori Yamauchi & GT5
At this years 2007 SEMA Show, Fast Lane Daily had the chance to interview Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi. During the interview we learned of a few newly added cars to the Gran Turismo series, specifically GT5 Prologue. We also learned about the 3G Corvette created by Art Morrison.
During last years SEMA show (2006), Craig Morrison of Art Morrison won 2006 Best in Show at the Gran Turismo Awards. His 1960 (3G) Corvette as a result, was added to the game.
This year we happened to bump into Craig at the Gran Turismo party. We learned a huge amount of information about the company, what they've been up to, the game... and what it takes to win.

Lamborghini An Enthusiasts Car? I Think Not.
As the headline states, Lamborghini is definitely not an enthusiasts car. A tool of marketing genius in the past decade? Yes. A playboy's ultimate accessory? Yes. A rap moguls car? Definitely.

But to actually call Lamborghini's something an automotive enthusiast would enjoy is utterly absurd. That would be like saying Gigli is something any movie buff would have in their collection. But wait Walter, it just looks so damn good! And with that I have to agree with you, but it stops there. If you look at Lamborghini's history it starts off in the fields of Italy when a young man known as Ferruccio Lamborghini complained about his Ferrari's clutch and Enzo told him to stick to driving tractors instead.
