are you guys just reusing the stuff from fast lane daily??

  • MattF G419 (guest) wrote in reply on June 12, 9:32 pm

No, we saved the most interesting content for Garage 419. Only two episodes worth though...

  • casey (guest) wrote on June 12, 7:23 pm

I like this addition to what you showed on FLD. I hope if you continue this that you show different interviews with jay or at least more than what FLD has already shown us.

Wow, I never knew ANY of the stuff about the Model-T that he just spouted. That's AWESOME!

  • supramike wrote on June 13, 1:22 am

Jay would be like the ultimate uncle to have for car guys like us. not only do u learn so much and can c it first hand but he's funny as hell.

  • richierich (guest) wrote on June 13, 6:13 am

YOU HAVE TO try the last car; the Stanley? steam engined car! and try to get some spead in it!
    That would be hilarius!
    geat show Thanks Richard

Great show! I was hoping that you save the good parts for garage419!
Jay knows so much about cars...that's crazy!!!

  • andrew_f wrote on June 13, 11:06 am

Hey Matt, were they're any of jay's cars that yoou wish you could had? I'll love to have his Shelby GT 350. And great show by the way.

  • MattF G419 (guest) wrote in reply on June 13, 10:43 pm

Too many of them to list....

  • Charioteer wrote on June 13, 1:49 pm

Damn that was cool. I could listen to Jay talk about cars all day...hes just so relaxed, so knowledgable, and he loves cars soo much. Im happy you saved these longer clips for G419. The clips on FLD were a bit too short. And at least this time he wasnt sitting on the fender of the same car the whole time. You mustve had a frikkin blast, there, Matt. And man, I already respected the Model T...but after hearing what Jay had to say, my respect for the car and Henry Ford has just gone through the roof. That thing about how he originally planned for farmers to produce their own ethanol? Crazy awesome. Love it.

Thats great stuff... why cant Matt and Jay host a National show together? TV spot!
    i'm just saying...

Loved the “T” info…I always see them at car shows, but that is about it. I did not know all those little things about it, kinda makes me wonder what we could do with all that simplicity in our small car market? Cars these days to have way too many parts, look at the Tesla, like three parts to the main engine…thing...vs. 500-700 in an average gas powered car!

I wonder what steam power would be like if we continued on with it. I remember watching a Leno special on the Speed Channel and he had one of the last of the line steam cars that had a completely safe and very small boiler. What would we have now? Boilers that are engine sized? Imagine the torque the average car would have!

wheres todays episode already? id rather waste 5 minutes here while at work, rather than my precious evenings at home....

Wait a sec...watching G419 isnt time wasted. Sorry bout that.

But give me my fix nonetheless. Its 4:15pm (US EST)already!

Now I have to sit here and keep hitting refresh and continually realize that I am an idiot who has nothing better to do than wait for the new episode to come out

  • pimpinteddy wrote on June 17, 6:37 pm

when is todays episode going up??

  • clbill wrote on July 6, 10:11 pm

Was the second episode of this interview ever posted as an episode?

  • MadRoy wrote on July 30, 4:45 am

Hey Matt, Just found your site thru streetfire.net and have been watching episoes. Fuckin great shit, man. Personally I say "Porsh" as well, if you actually require that I add a additional syllable pound sand. I do notice that you tend to focus on road-going peformance vehicles, how 'bout some love for us offroaders? Actually it doesn't really matter just put a motor in it and I'm pretty happy. Keep 'em coming, got go beat the Jeep!
