Did you say 6.5 hp. The technology on those carts is amazing but the local track by me has a track and those things will hit 140+. Im not saying that wont be fun to but still, nothing gets your blood rushing like going 140 mere inches from the ground or cornering at 2+ G's

Wait, so you can just show up, having never driven a kart before, and get into a 140 mph kart? That doesn't sound safe to me, but if it's true, tell me the name of the place and I'll drive there right now.

  • Flynn (guest) wrote in reply on June 18, 4:26 pm

its only a 40mph kart. you could get a lot more out of the engine if it were mated to a transmission but its only a single speed. ive been there and there really isnt much of a need for more than a 40mph top speed, although i wouldnt mind a bit more acceleration.

Death Valley = Great roads, with no cops. It was a vacation to me :)

140 mph karts BULLSHIT!!!! dude those are speeds that world kart championship karts hit, those are guys who go on to become F1 drivers, i doubt that you can get karts that high of caliber available for the public to rent, dude there is no reason to come here and make a braging comment like that, you know what if im making an ass of myself by saying that your spitting out bullshit put up the phone number to the place and an address id like to call and then make a trip out there for these karts cause i highly doubt it.

if you find yourself in NY, then it's on at GPNY.

People, $4 a gallon is not a lot man. I live in freakin' Kosovo and gas is $7 a gallon. Go to an EU country and you'll have to pay 8 to 10.

  • Guido (guest) wrote on June 4, 6:58 am

4 or 5 dollar a gallon, is not a lot really,
I live in the Netherlands and guess what i am paying.
around 1 euro 66 per liter:
that is arround $9,70. And prices are still going up.
Man you guy's are lucky in the US.
and cars don't come cheap either in Europe.
look at buying a BMW m3 in US: $57.275,-
BMW m3 in the netherlands:(converted from eu to $)
    164.025,- euro.
    So, be lucky.
Hmm btw, thinking of it, i might be moving away from here.

    cheers

  • Guido (guest) wrote in reply on June 4, 6:58 am

oh yeah the $9,70 was per gallon ofcourse:P

  • Guido (guest) wrote in reply on June 4, 6:59 am

and the 164.025 should be in $ not euro

  • Turboman (guest) wrote on June 4, 8:04 am

Wow GPNY is the best GoKart track I have ever seen!
I think there is no chance that you can drive a 140mph kart without racedrivers license etc.
And guys don't cry on oil prices because we europeans have the highest prices in automobile things (gas cars taxes...)

Great show. GPNY looks frikkin dope and makes me feel like Ive been living in a cave all my life for not knowing about such a facility. Mundy is a cool character and well-spoken with sensible opinions...you should have him back on the show for sure.

iDrive is some messed up stuff. Like on the M6 you can adjust horsepower and throttle response and stuff...pretty soon youre going to have to pull over and 'reboot' your Bimmer once the iDrive system freezes up or crashes.

NNN/G419/FLD, you guys are really stepping it up and are kicking ass. Im hooked. great stuff. keep it up. produce more content, we'll keep eating it up.

  • Fresh (guest) wrote on June 4, 10:37 pm

I didn't care for this episode. No offense, but the VP of GPNY seems like a tool. Please don't ever have this guy on your show again.

  • Uncle Craig (guest) wrote on June 5, 5:10 pm

We can complain about gas prices. Before GW Bush-noogie took office, gas was $2.00 a gallon. It has more than doubled under his "leadership." The only good thing about this: fewer trucks on the road. Amen.

Great facility, that GPNY, but how 'bout some helmet cam action playing while I hear the commentary? That'd be cool!
