The Garage

Car enthusiasts do their own research through the forums, blogs, and magazines. Garage419 isn't here to be the source of car information like CNN is for current events. Debates, biased reviews, and straight forward interviews are just some of the things to expect on '419.

  • Moik (guest) wrote in reply on May 15, 8:04 pm:
The tune is Aphex Twin, Flim.

    Lets hope the show improves.

Dude...when the light is on it in the dark...crazy! I would like to see a car done all in that black...100%. At night it would just trip everyone out...in the day no one would know a thing heh!

Hell yeah!! Matt that's some crazy vinyl artwork!!! But what the hell was this Queeeennnnn women/man thing doin on the set??
Btw I know the Mini Cooper S and JWC got a hoodscoop but yours is much bigger than normal. Do you get extra power with this thing attached?
  • MattF G419 (guest) wrote in reply on May 14, 11:02 am:
The hood scoop is from a company called Palo Uber, and it gets 150% more airflow on the top mount intercooler, so yes, it's functional.

As for Yayi the Queen, she may not look like much, but she's actually a Stunt Motorcycle Rider with the Ruff Ryders Crew. They were doing a photoshoot with her the same day we were doing the install, and she was just being wierd.

  • MattF G419 (guest) wrote in reply on May 14, 11:07 pm:

  • Turboman (guest) wrote on May 15, 12:05 pm:
    What she's from Ruff Riders??
And 150% more airflow is a good reason for this big hoodscoop ;-)
  • Charioteer wrote on May 15, 12:13 pm:
Matt, with Vinyl applications like that...is it possible to remove it and re-use and reaply it later? Or, once you take it off, is the vinyl pretty much ruined?
  • MattF G419 (guest) wrote in reply on May 19, 2:09 pm:
no, you can't take them off and re-use them like some other less-sticky vinyl. it won't damage the paint when you take them off, but they will probably tear to shreds. the reflective stuff is very brittle.

this show should be called garagemini girl club. what is up with thisi art mini car? matt locate your balls buddy
  • MattF G419 (guest) wrote in reply on May 19, 2:10 pm:
it takes someone very secure in their sexuality to drive a car that everyone calls gay. i'd say my balls are right where they should be. and if for some reason I need a reminder, I can always count on you guys to trash me.
