The Garage

Car enthusiasts do their own research through the forums, blogs, and magazines. Garage419 isn't here to be the source of car information like CNN is for current events. Debates, biased reviews, and straight forward interviews are just some of the things to expect on '419.

hahahahahahaahahaha, ok, where do i start, Cadillac CTS-V, love the d'tuned vette motor, but hate the body kit, it makes it look to much like the 04-05 CTS-V, they did away with the angular look as much as they could with the new 08 which i liked, still look'd like the CTS we've come to love just a lil more refined and rounded. i know the CTS-V is supossed to look agressive but i'd rather they'd just left the look alone rather than have that body kit on it. Have to agree with Matt on the DBS, thought i was the only one that felt that way, nice to hear i'm not alone. Pontiac Solstice Coupe....well i'm a big fan of the drop-top so we'll c if this one can grow on me. i like the big boy toy look of the drop top, looks like a big go kart and it drives like one 2. great show as always.

    nice mini!

suzuki and cobalt should just hang it up!

why didnt you cover the Genesis coupe?

Matt. your crazy, the DB9 is super dope! put some black wheels on that DB9, oh yea.

I wanna see some head to head Solstic coupe vs. Hyundai Genesis Coupe.

    cobalt... bah.

    Hybrids, you said it best.

how bout the DB9 wheels on the Porsche and the Porsche wheels on the DB9 hahaha, yea !

good show, even tho you ended it with the word. crap !

    good intro, but no outro!

    good coverage tho.

I second the motion to get a longer show !

hybrids are bullshit, if you want to save gas buy a tesla, and call me because i'd like a ride in one of those too. I can not believe you're giving the solstice the time of day...260 hmmm me thinks thats untested.. lets see it on a dyno and on the track.

that comment about the GT3 was a bit harsh true but harsh. T he solstice kind reminds me of the old school jaguar shape wise

Great show!! And just the right statements to the cars!!!

I agree on American cars, and the ones you pointed out definitely seem like a departure from that stigma. Now if they can start implementing those changes throughout the line, America might get back in the business. funny stuff

Thanks for doing a Jay Leno interview. Hope it's nice and long.

    Your show is awesome!!!

Could you please interview Aptera, Tesla Motors, and other companies like that, while you're in the area?

Did you bring the MINI to California?
Are you going to be at the 2008 MINI takes the States?
I would look forward to your coverage of that event.

No, we had to fly to California, as driving cross country every time you have to go to the west coast isn't exactly practical. But at 26k miles after 1 year it's no garage queen either.

As for the Mini takes the states event, I haven't heard of it, but will look into it.

    Hey Matt,

Any news from Alex on the release of the 32 hours 7 minutes dvd? Last I heard production was in "high gear" but at this point I don't think it'll ever come out
  • MattF NYMC (guest) wrote in reply on March 30, 2:15 am:
The 32:07 movie will be out reasonable soon in limited theater release. I met with Corey Welles (producer/director) when I was out in LA, and she said that the movie was basically done, but they were shopping distributors. I don't have an exact date, but don't worry, we will blow it up when it's out, and might even be able to arrange a private screening for G419 viewers. We will keep you posted once we have something to report.
